Omega Liner Method for Rehabilitation of Pipelines Using Rigid Polyvinyl Chloride Pipes

A rigid polyvinyl chloride pipe with shape memory properties folded in an omega (Ω) shape is rapidly restored to a circular form by heating it within an existing pipe, thereby constructing a self-supporting pipe.

A rigid polyvinyl chloride pipe with shape memory performance, pre-folded into a ω shape at the factory, is pulled into the existing pipe and restored to a circular shape by heating with steam. It is then closely adhered to the existing pipe using compressed air to construct a strong self-supporting pipe. Since the liner material is a polyvinyl chloride pipe with shape memory performance, there are no chemical reactions on-site, allowing for safe construction. **Features** - Short construction time (restores to a circular shape quickly with just heating). - Consistent quality due to factory production. (Manufactured at a factory certified by the Japan Sewage Works Association and registered as Class II materials) - High seismic resistance recognized through construction technology review certification for compatibility with existing pipes. - Rehabilitates as a self-supporting PVC pipe with excellent strength, durability, corrosion resistance, and hydraulic properties. - Enables shortening of construction periods and cost reduction. - A safe construction method that does not use organic solvents, eliminating concerns about odors or fire hazards. - Follows the bends and steps of existing pipes without wrinkles, allowing for rehabilitation of only the installation pipe. **Applications** - Reconstruction and extension of the lifespan of aging or damaged sewer pipes (Ø150 to 450) - Strength restoration - Improvement of water-tightness against infiltrating water, flow characteristics, corrosion resistance, prevention of root intrusion, and seismic resistance.

The pipe rehabilitation method 'SPR Method' for extending the lifespan of aging sewer pipes.

Rehabilitation of all types of pipes, such as circular, rectangular, and horseshoe-shaped, as a strong composite pipe integrated with existing pipes and rehabilitation pipe backfill material, while maintaining non-excavation and water flow!

The existing pipe is fitted with rigid PVC material in a spiral manner while manufacturing the rehabilitation pipe, and a special backfill material is filled in the gap between the existing pipe and the rehabilitation pipe. This revitalizes the old pipeline into a strong composite pipe that integrates the existing pipe and the backfill material of the rehabilitation pipe. 【Features】 ● The self-propelled pipe manufacturing method allows for the rehabilitation of various pipe shapes, including circular, rectangular, and horseshoe shapes. ● Construction can be carried out while allowing water flow, eliminating the need for temporary drainage within the main pipe. ● Non-excavation means there is minimal impact on traffic and social life. ● There are no restrictions on the pipe manufacturing distance, enabling long-distance pipe production. ● It can accommodate curved construction and can be installed with a slope. ● The flow capacity is equal to or greater than the design flow rate before rehabilitation. ● The rehabilitation pipe is excellent in durability, wear resistance, and chemical resistance. ● Seismic retrofitting of pipeline facilities is possible. ● Work can be suspended even during pipe manufacturing in the event of sudden heavy rainfall. 【Applications】 ● Reconstruction and extension of the lifespan of aging or damaged sewer pipes (Ø250 to 5000) ● Strength restoration ● Improvement of water tightness against inflow, flowability, corrosion resistance, prevention of tree root intrusion, and seismic resistance enhancement ● Setting of pipe slope (rehabilitation pipe Ø800mm and above)
